Why Nirvana Yoga Is a No-Phone Zone
You drove here. You showed up for yourself. You deserve to actually be present for that.
We live in a world of constant notifications, scrolling, emails, and distractions. So when you walk into the yoga room at Nirvana Yoga House, we ask you to leave your phone in our entryway.
Why?
Because your yoga practice is one of the few times in your day when nothing needs you.
No notifications. No social media. No checking your phone between poses. Just your breath, your body, and the practice in front of you.
Think of walking into the yoga room as a giant exhale.
Yoga is about turning inward, and stepping away from your phone for an hour gives you the space to actually do that. Especially when you're juggling work, family, and a million other things, that uninterrupted time can be pretty powerful.
Of course, you're welcome to take photos before or after class, we love celebrating that you showed up! We simply ask that phones stay in the entryway while class is in session so everyone has the opportunity to be fully present.
A little less outside noise. A little more space to breathe.
See you on your mat,
Chelsea, Owner
